The Pico Water District Board of Directors will consider adopting the Urban Water Management Plan and the Water Shortage Contingency Plan during an upcoming meeting. These plans are required by state regulators to be updated every five years.
The plans will be reviewed during a hearing at the May 20, 2026, Board of Directors meeting. The regular meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. at the Pico Water District headquarters at 4843 Church Street in Pico Rivera. The public will have an opportunity to comment on the proposed plans during that hearing.
